HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT to see a counsellor, you should first register with us so that we can properly assess the specific situation. To obtain a registration form you can:

The first appointment provides an opportunity for clients to discuss their situations with a Senior Counsellor. The session may last for up to 90 minutes.

If Counsel for LIFE can provide appropriate help, the client will then be offered an appointment with a suitable counsellor. They will meet together at weekly intervals thereafter, for up to 50 minutes each time. These appointments are normally booked to take place at the same time each week.

Some clients may require only a few sessions; others gain benefit by attending over a much longer period of time.

Client and counsellor, together, agree when it is most appropriate to end the course of counselling. Of course, the client is able to cancel at any time (subject to 24 hours notice), although it is best to attend a final ‘ending session’.

In either case please send the completed form back to us with a £10 registration fee, and we will contact you with a date for a first appointment.
